Update
The recent work that I have been carrying out is to research in detail into other bans and artists' digipaks and websites. In doing this, I have learned a large amount about the type of layout and colour schemes that go along with such features. The digipaks seem to often be in colour, either portraying the band/artist or including vivid, striking images. Additionally, it is normal for a track list and images of the artist(s) to be included within the digipak. In contrast, websites are usually more formal and widely informative, containing features such as merchandise and pages dedicated to professional images of the band/artist'.

Audience Interviews Analysis
After interviewing a wide spectrum of people, I am able to draw some conclusions about certain aspects that will have a positive effect towards our music video. As a group we have come to a final conclusion on a suitable target audience: between the ages of 14 and 25. The first question that I presented received a vast mix of answers, which gives us - as the producers - the ability to make decisions about whether our chosen music video was suitable for our target audience. Along with this, the majority of our interviewees did not have a favourite music video specifically, which also gives us a lot of freedom. The interpretations of Sons of The East - Hold On were all very similar, suggesting that the song principal deals with a boy who has run away due to family issues and his father wants him to come back. Most of the audience were not overly concerned about their music having a music video but did suggest that it is more engaging and entertaining. Additionally, it is evident that the audience find a music video useful when trying to understand the meaning of the lyrics. Following on from this, we discovered that our audience usually expect a narrative within the music video, as that can become key for the understanding of the lyrics. Finally, I found out that when watching music videos, everybody uses Youtube as their goto site.

Possible Song Choices
These two songs are our main choices of a song for our music video, both taking on a relatively simplistic and acoustic genre. Casey Abrams - Simple Life would be easy to resource, making use of nature and technology. It would also require a shorter amount of planning time, leaving abundant room for precise filming and editing. However, with this song it is extremely easy to create a music video consisting of literal ideas and could lack creativity and impact on they audience. Conversely, Sons Of The East - Hold On would take a considerably larger amount of time to plan and resource, but would also allow us to be more imaginative and creative with our music video.

Music Video Styles
A Modern Example
Style: This video takes a narrative style, depicting of a couples and their journey together. In addition, the music videos main line 'we ain't never getting older' is reflected by in the video as the couple don't seem to move forward in time throughout the video. This video differs from a generic music video as it includes the lyrics to the song, perhaps to further include the audience.
Purpose of the video: The purpose of this video is to entertain the audience with the vibrant colourful scenes of lush landscapes and to illustrate the words of the song through the close happy couple.
Striking Moment: The most visually encapsulating moment for me is the aireal shot of the winding roads across the mountainous terrain. I find this shot particularly striking due to the antithesis of grey roads and green vegetation.
